Heated Containers

Heated Containers

Similar to the deep-freeze containers, our heating containers are lined with 120mm of insulation to help maintain the required temperature. In addition, the heating shipping containers can be adjusted for temperatures up to +80/+90 degrees Celsius.

To maintain temperature control storage during loading or on entering and exiting, the containers can be fitted with sluice doors, which provide a buffer zone to reduce the loss of hot air.

heated containers for industrial use

Heated containers aren’t limited to standard container sizes. Our mega units allow you to create a single zone climate that is almost limitless in size, depending on your operational requirements.

Heated containers are frequently used in the areas of:

Plastics

Foils

Chemistry

Pharmaceuticals

Automobiles

The containers have a variable operating temperature range of -25/30 degrees Celsius to -+25/30 degrees Celsius. These containers are available to buy or rent with a wide variety of customer-specific options to choose from.

FAQs

Heated Containers

Heated containers are designed to provide warm, controlled environments for storage or workspace in cold conditions. They are commonly used on construction sites, industrial yards, and warehouses to protect equipment, tools, materials, and sensitive goods from frost, freezing, or cold-related damage.

Yes. Heated container hire is ideal for temporary projects, seasonal storage, or construction work during winter months. Hiring allows businesses to access reliable, fully functional heated containers without committing to a long-term purchase, making it cost-effective and flexible.

Yes. Businesses can purchase heated containers for sale to secure long-term temperature-controlled storage or workspace. Buying is particularly beneficial for companies operating in cold climates or managing year-round industrial operations.

Heated containers use built-in heating systems combined with insulation to maintain a stable internal temperature. Systems are designed for consistent heat distribution, preventing cold spots and ensuring equipment, materials, or goods remain protected from freezing temperatures.

Absolutely. These containers are specifically engineered for cold-weather environments. They are insulated, weatherproof, and equipped with heaters that maintain temperatures suitable for both personnel and sensitive equipment, even in sub-zero conditions.

Heated containers are suitable for construction equipment, tools, machinery, materials sensitive to cold, chemicals, and other items requiring protection from freezing. They can also be adapted as temporary workspaces for staff during cold conditions.

Heated containers are made of robust steel with lockable doors. Optional security features, such as padlocks or alarm systems, can further protect equipment and materials, making them suitable for high-value assets or regulated industrial storage.

Yes. Heated containers can be customised in size, insulation levels, heating capacity, shelving, and layout. This allows businesses to optimise the container for storage, workspace, or specific operational needs in cold conditions.

Common sizes include 10ft, 20ft, and 40ft containers, providing options for small storage needs or large industrial operations. Custom sizes may also be available depending on operational requirements.

Heated containers are delivered using specialist transport vehicles and lifting equipment. Upon delivery, the heating system is installed and tested to ensure full functionality. Site placement is guided to ensure optimal accessibility and safe operation.

Yes. Heated containers can be moved to new locations as operational needs change. Relocation requires suitable site access and handling equipment, and the heating system can be restarted quickly to maintain a consistent internal temperature.

Yes. Industries such as construction, manufacturing, utilities, logistics & many more use heated containers to ensure equipment, materials, and temporary workspaces remain functional and safe during cold weather operations.

Heated containers are typically powered via electricity, though some units can be configured for generator or fuel-based heating. The power system is designed to maintain consistent heat while operating safely in cold conditions.

Yes. Many heated containers are configured to serve as dual-purpose units, offering temperature-controlled storage for sensitive equipment and a warm workspace for staff, ensuring productivity and asset protection simultaneously.

Heated containers provide reliable, insulated, and safe environments for operations in cold conditions. Hiring offers flexibility for temporary projects, while purchasing ensures long-term availability for year-round storage or workspace needs.
