Conrail deep-freeze containers are designed to work and maintain temperatures within a range of 0 to -60 degrees Celsius. The interior walls are lined with 120mm of insulation, improving thermal efficiency and reducing energy consumption.
To maintain temperature control during loading or on entering and exiting, the containers can be fitted with sluice doors, which provide a buffer zone to reduce the loss of cold air. Deep-freeze containers also feature heated door seals to prevent freezing, allowing for easy access at all times.
Deep-freeze containers aren’t limited to standard container sizes. Our mega units allow you to create a single zone climate that is almost limitless in size, depending on your operational requirements.
Our deep-freeze containers can be used for various purposes. For example, a manufacturing process requires a product to be maintained at a low temperature before progressing to the next step in the manufacturing process.
Sectors that commonly use deep-freeze containers include:
Food Industry
Medical Industry
Pharmaceutical Sector
Research and development, including for the storage of vaccines.
